Rohit Shetty Requested Salman Khan To Push The Release Date Of 'Antim: The Final Truth' To Avoid Clashing With His Film 'Sooryavanshi' -Report
As per a report, Salman Khan wanted to release his upcoming film Antim: The Final Truth during Diwali. Rohit Shetty reportedly convinced him to push the release date.
There are many films that will be released in theatres in the coming months. Talking about Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi, the movie is slated to release on November 5. Sooryavanshi stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. Fans of the actors are looking forward to the film's release. As per reports, actor Salman Khan was eyeing the same date for the release of his film Antim: The Final Truth. The movie also stars Aayush Sharma.
As per the reports, Salman Khan was planning to release Antim: The Final Truth during Diwali, however, he had a change of mind after a request was made to him. Reportedly, when Rohit Shetty learnt that Salman Khan was also going to release his film on the same date as that of when Sooryavanshi releases, he met him and requested to push the date.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, "Salman Khan was looking at a date to release his film Antim: The Final Truth, co-starring Aayush Sharma. One of the dates he was eyeing was November 5, which is also the day Sooryavanshi releases. When Sooryavanshi's director and co-producer Rohit Shetty learnt about this development, he met Salman Khan and requested him to avoid clashing with his film. He told the superstar that a solo release was important for a big film like Sooryavanshi."
